Brand Policy

Sewing Class & Studio Policies

At Cupid Designs TT, our goal is to create a welcoming and creative learning environment where students can build confidence and develop practical sewing skills. The following policies help ensure that all classes run smoothly and that every student has a positive experience.

Registration & Payment

All classes must be paid in full to secure your spot unless a payment plan is specifically offered.

Due to limited studio space, spaces cannot be held without payment. Registration is confirmed only after payment has been received.

For select programs, payment plans may be available. Students who choose a payment plan must complete all scheduled payments in order to continue participating in the class.

Studio Capacity

Cupid Designs TT is a small studio environment with limited seating. Most in-person classes are limited to four students per session to ensure that each student receives individual guidance and support.

Missed Classes

Students are encouraged to attend all scheduled classes as each session builds on the previous one. Please note that regular class sessions cannot be transferred to another date.

If a student is unable to attend a class, they will still receive any handouts or resources associated with that lesson, and the instructor will be happy to answer brief questions at the next session.

A private make-up session may be booked based on availabilty at a rate of $175 TTD for 90 mins. Make-up sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to instructor availability.

Cancellations & Refunds

Because classes require preparation, scheduling, and reserved seating, payments are non-refundable.

If a student is unable to attend a class, they may request to transfer their registration to a future class, provided notice is given at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Transfers are subject to availability in future classes.

No refunds or transfers will be offered for missed classes without prior notice.

Late Arrivals

Students are encouraged to arrive on time so that lessons can begin promptly.

Late arrivals may miss important instructions at the beginning of the class, and instructors may not always be able to repeat full demonstrations.

Supplies & Materials

Some classes include basic supplies, while others may require students to bring their own fabric, notions, or tools.

When supplies are required, a materials list will be provided in advance so students can prepare before the class.

Studio sewing machines, tools, and equipment will be provided during in-person sessions unless otherwise stated.

Respect for the Studio Space

Cupid Designs TT aims to maintain a calm and creative learning environment.

Students are expected to:

  • Treat studio equipment with care
  • Respect fellow students and the instructor
  • Follow all safety instructions when using sewing machines and tools

Any behavior that disrupts the learning environment may result in removal from the class.

Photography & Media

Occasionally, photos or short videos may be taken during classes for educational or promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform the instructor before the class begins.

Creative Learning Philosophy

At Cupid Designs TT, our teaching approach focuses on building strong sewing foundations. Students are encouraged to develop essential skills step-by-step before moving into more advanced projects.

This structured learning process ensures that students gain the confidence and technical knowledge needed to sew successfully on their own.

Ordering Process & Procedures
  • You can trust that your order will be quickly and effectively processed and safely delivered.
  • We can ship products anywhere in Trinidad and Tobago via TTPOST.
  • We ship throughout the Caribbean and to the US and Canada.
  • Bank Deposits are reserved ONLY for Customers in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment’s destination. 
  • Most orders will ship within 72-96 hours. Please keep in mind that this could vary depending on holidays and sales. An email will be submitted if the processing time is beyond average.
  • Once we dispatch your order for delivery you will receive a tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for tracking info to update.
  • You'll receive an email notification once we create a label, but your tracking info will not update until it's scanned and received by the shipping carrier.
  • If your tracking information states your order was delivered and you believe this to be an error, please contact your local post office.

Shipping & Handling

We currently ship through TTPOST.

  • We reserve the right to substitute a shipping method if the requested shipping method is not available for your address. 

Returns

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns however please contact us if you have any issues with the product received.

 Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, you can do so within the first 24 hrs provided that the order has not yet been shipped. If the item you want to cancel has been shipped, the order cannot be canceled. 

We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time, for any reason.
